When Lena and her husband Karl found out Karl was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 and was given 3 years to live, they immediately thought of their family and 4 kids. Lena and Karl decided to start Jump City in order to ensure their family was financially taken care of. They started with just 5 basic bounce houses, a pickup truck, and with their family as the only staff. Lena and her family worked tirelessly and each year, Jump City grew and grew all while Karl went through chemo. Miraculously, Karl lived 15 years instead of 3 so Karl, Lena, and their kids were able to enjoy those extra special years together all while successfully growing Jump City to the well-known, community go-to bounce house rental provider it is today.

Over 20 years later and Lena is still loving the work and getting to connect with her community and delivering joy across North Texas. Jump City has grown to offer a large variety of rentals for bounce houses, water slides, obstacle courses, inflatable combos, dry slides, inflatables games, food machines, and more!
